Sema Stori
We sought out 10 East African filmmakers, who would work collaboratively with local communities, to join us in authoring ten amazing short documentary films in their own unique voices. We dubbed this the Sema Stori Program.

Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF) ran a campaign to prevent violent extremism amongst Kenya’s vulnerable youth. DOCUBOX and The Box were asked to create 4 different short films in line with this particular and very sensitive theme for social impact.

Films For Good
The Films for Good film workshop was borne out of a challenge we all know to be a part of NGO storytelling on the continent; when shooting local stories on social impact for NGO’s, the film production crew will almost always be sourced from outside the country’s borders.

4-month film training scholarship program in partnership with Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg.
